Razorblade
weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement)
At first glance, this weapon appears to be an exceptionally thin longsword forged from polished steel. Its blade is so narrow that many assume it must be fragile. In truth, the opposite is the case. While in this form, the weapon is utterly rigid. It does not bend, flex, or yield under any force short of the mightiest magic.
The weapon was created by an eccentric weaponsmith obsessed with versatility. After years of experimentation, he discovered a method of binding an enchanted metallic filament into two distinct states: one fluid and one unyielding. The result was a weapon capable of transforming from a supple lash into a flawless blade without sacrificing the strengths of either form.
In sword form, few clues remain of its true nature. The blade appears as solid and dependable as any masterwork weapon, save for the faint shimmer that runs along its edge when it catches the light.
