Rat on a Stick

A simple wooden pole with a living rat lashed to the end. The rat is magically sustained and perpetually annoyed. It functions as a quarterstaff that occasionally bites.
Rat Whack
This weapon functions as a quarterstaff. On a hit, it deals bludgeoning damage. The rat squeaks furiously and bites the target, dealing an additional 1 piercing damage.Keen Nose
The rat has an exceptional sense of smell. While holding the weapon, you can use an action to let the rat sniff the air. It points toward the nearest source of food or rations within 60 feet, squeaking excitedly in that direction. This has no effect if no food is within range.

A sturdy wooden pole with a living skunk magically lashed to the end. The skunk is perpetually irritated and will spray on command. It functions as a quarterstaff, but smellier.
Skunk Smack
This weapon functions as a quarterstaff. On a hit, it deals bludgeoning damage plus poison damage. The skunk hisses at the target on impact.Noxious Spray
Once per short rest, you can use an action to command the skunk to spray. Each creature in a 15-foot cone in front of you must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. A poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. The smell lingers on affected creatures for 1 hour, during which they have disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks.
Skunk on a Stick

A sturdy ironwood pole with a bristling porcupine magically affixed to the end. The porcupine's quills are razor-sharp and regenerate after each encounter. It regards combat with a calm, almost bored expression.

This weapon functions as a quarterstaff. On a hit, it deals bludgeoning and slashing damage instead of the normal quarterstaff damage. The honey badger claws and bites with reckless fury on impact.Fearless Frenzy
As a bonus action, you can channel the honey badger's legendary fearlessness for 1 minute. During this time, you have advantage on attack rolls made with this weapon and you are immune to the frightened condition. However, you must move toward the nearest hostile creature you can see on each of your turns and cannot willingly move away from it. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
